American Honda Motor Co., Inc. has decided that a safety defect exists in the front right suspension on certain 2012 model year TRX420TE/TM (2WD) ATVs. A weld on the front right upper suspension arm on affected ATVs may fail due to insufficient weld penetration. American Honda is sending a letter to owners of all affected 2012 TRX420TE/TM ATVs informing them that their vehicle is being recalled for a safety-related defect. The customer will be advised to have a Honda ATV dealer replace the front right upper suspension arm. They will be instructed to call their dealer to make an appointment to have the Recall performed.
